Bay Point Schools health services are under the direction of a full-time, licensed, pediatric nurse practitioner (ARNP). . Bay Point provides a full range of health services in compliance with OSHA guidelines and all other federal and state regulations related to communicable diseases. Each campus has a health clinic staffed by an LPN level nurse. The professional, medical staff teaches the health education classes, providing a strong wellness emphasis to the program. The health care professionals are available to all students 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

A partnership with Miami Children's Hospital provides a valuable medical authority to oversee the health evaluations and care of the students.

Mental Health Care - The Bay Point Schools Mental Health Department is under the direction of a licensed mental health professional. Three certified mental health professionals provide therapeutic services in mental health and substance abuse and are available full-time. These include mental health and substance abuse screening, comprehensive mental health and substance abuse evaluations, mental health and substance abuse treatment and individual, group and family therapy.
