Private Students
Far too many youths are involving themselves in drugs and violence. Bay Point opens its doors to parents wishing to voluntarily enroll their sons in a safe environment where education is paramount.

Bay Point Schools’ Kennedy Campus is located in beautiful Cutler Bay, an incorporated community near Miami. The school is situated on 48 acres that is home to an environmentally protected mangrove ecosystem. Our expansive South Miami campus consists of three dormitories, state-of-the-art classrooms, a vocational building, and superior kitchen and dining facilities run by our resident Chef. Our campus is designed for multiple sports and exercise areas, including a football playing field and an area for baseball and softball practice.

Bay Point Schools offers a comprehensive therapeutic program and a challenging, fully-accredited academic program. You will find a warm, caring, structured residential component and varied team building, sports, and co-curricular programs. Each student is provided with the potential of mastering new life skills that will promote a sense of accomplishment as well as self esteem, discipline, and pride.

Students receive superior care and custody with twenty-four hour supervision year round. Appropriate ratios of staff provide timely responses to the every day needs of each student while maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.

Health Care
Bay Point Schools’ health services are under the direction of a licensed pediatrician. Each campus has a health clinic staffed by a licensed nurse practitioner (LPN). The medical staff teaches health education classes, providing a strong emphasis on wellness, to the students.

Mental Health Care
The mental health component at Bay Point is under the direction of licensed mental health care professionals who provide comprehensive mental health and substance abuse evaluations as well as individual, group, and family therapy.

Enrollment

We specialize in helping families take the first step towards a healthy and productive future for their son.

The criteria for admission are essentially any teenage boy whose behavior is beyond the control of his parents or guardians. Applications are accepted year round for boys ages 14-17½ at enrollment. This step towards success can be a difficult one for many families. We suggest you personally consult with us about your concerns. Our admission counselors are familiar with the questions and challenges that families have at this time. In addition to the emotional aspects of placement, we can also address financial and logistical concerns.

Interview and Tour

Call us to inquire about scheduling a private tour of our facilities and to meet with one of our counselors. At that time you can also discuss tuition costs and financial assistance. Call Admissions at (305) 251-3112 x116 or email admissions@baypointschools.com
